STATCOM is also known as static synchronous compensators (STATCOMs) are an
integral part of AC current systems and devices. The fundamental purpose is to
enable a fast-acting, accurate and an adjustable proportion of reactive power

STATCOM gain this by altering the polarity and magnitude of the reactive
component of the current flowing via AC side. Therefore, this allows STATCOMs
